We had such a good time assisting Junior Girl Scout troop 11808 of West Forsyth Service Unit in earning their Horseback Riding badge. It was a beautiful day to learn about safety around horses, how to effectively groom the horses, the tack used in riding, what we feed the horses, basic health care and so much more. The scouts participated in a riding lesson and even did a little “trick” riding; equestrian vaulting!
A big shout out from our volunteers to these scouts for cleaning all our stalls for us! Thank-you Troop 11808!
