We had a wonderful Saturday filled with children’s riding lessons, Junior Girl Scout troop 16229 from Lanier Service Unit doing service projects and a group of young ladies from Forsyth Parks & Recreation for a horse experience.

Diane Ford loved horses, horse people, and volunteering for charities. Thank you to the Ford family for choosing Bearfoot Ranch as the recipient of donations in her memory. We are an all-volunteer run organization that offers therapy riding to children and adults with special needs.

Bearfoot Ranch is going to follow Forsyth County Schools regarding closures: we will be closed at least thru Monday, April 13, 2020.
We are watching everything closely and will let you know when we are going to open back up for lessons, but if Forsyth County Schools are closed, we will be too.

Tina Wilson has been serving Bearfoot Ranch for the last 6 years helping feed the horses. She has also volunteered for 5 years with the Special Olympics Equestrian Team of Forsyth County as a handler and side walker for the annual Georgia Special Olympics Horse Show.Read More
