Bearfoot Ranch works closely with Forsyth County Animal Control in the rescue and rehabilitation of seized animals. Our goal is to return these horses to good health and to teach them to trust humans again. When they are ready, Bearfoot Ranch works hard to find these horses a new home with loving owners.
What does it mean to sponsor a horse?
The horse you will be sponsoring was rescued from neglect, abuse or death. Bearfoot Ranch works hard to rescue and rehabilitate horses in need. In order to continue to rescue more horses, we need sponsors like you to help us with the care of these animals until we find their forever home. When becoming a sponsor, you are giving an individual horse a second chance at living a better life.

Lincoln is a 13-year-old, beautiful, large Dutch Warmblood Cross who had the bad misfortune of working as an Amish buggy horse. He was inhumanely driven and beaten with chains until he was broken and could no longer serve. His Amish master discarded him at The New Holland Auction Barn where most slaughter buyers come to purchase unwanted horses.
Donate to help our horsesSponsor Tebo
Tebo was found tied to a tree and was rescued. He was then adopted by his mom and brought to Bearfoot Ranch where he serves as a therapeutic lesson horse for children. During an encounter with Tebo, an autistic child spoke for the first time.
