Bearfoot Ranch loves Thoroughbreds & Welcomes the Chance to Celebrate Them
You’re invited to celebrate the Kentucky Derby in style at the Avalon Shopping District in Alpharetta Georgia at a Kentucky Derby Party this Saturday, May 6th from 4 PM to 8 PM! The Plaza will host a glamorous party featuring a jumbo viewing screen to watch the race, place your bets, and enjoy live music. So put on your fancy hats and bowties, grab a Mint Julep, and let the fun begin! Raffle ticket proceeds will go to support the Thoroughbreds, Tarpens, and other special horses at Bearfoot Ranch.
Schedule of Events:
4 PM: It’s off to the races as the Plaza opens to kick off the party! Head to one of our event bars to enjoy specialty drinks provided by Stateside Vodka, Z.Alexander Brown, Blade & Bow, and Patron. Be sure to wear your dancing shoes, Insiders, because we will have the band Megafly here to throw the smoothest dance party south of Louisville! Plus check out all the pre-race fun including a photo booth, specialty activations, and more!
4 PM to 6:30 PM: Purchase raffle tickets and pick the horse you think will win first, place, or show. Place your “bets” on your favorite horses by placing your tickets in their raffle basket and 3 lucky winners will be selected from the winning horses’ baskets! Prizes will be given to the horse that places all 3 positions. Prize packages include various items and gift cards from participating Avalon retailers & restaurants. All raffle proceeds will benefit Bearfoot Ranch. Raffle tickets are cash purchases only.

6:50 PM: Tune into the jumbo screen to watch the most anticipated 2 minutes in sports and cheer on your favorite horse! After the race, winners from the raffle will be notified.
7:15 PM to 8 PM: This Kentucky Derby Party doesn’t end after the horses are back in the stables! Stick around as Megafly closes out the evening while you enjoy another specialty cocktail.
